Styling Expert

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CSS styling expert to join our team in the computer software industry. As a CSS styling expert, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our company’s web applications, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across multiple devices.

In this position, you will collaborate with our front-end development team to implement and refine the overall design and layout of our web applications. You will be responsible for creating and modifying CSS stylesheets, applying industry best practices to ensure consistency and compliance with web standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of CSS, including proficiency with preprocessors such as Sass or Less. You should have a strong eye for design, with the ability to create visually engaging user interfaces. Additionally, you should be familiar with creating responsive designs and have experience with CSS frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front-end development team to implement design concepts into CSS stylesheets
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot CSS code to improve the overall appearance and functionality of web applications
• Ensure code consistency and compliance with web standards and best practices
• Optimize CSS stylesheets for improved performance and maintainability
• Support cross-functional teams in resolving CSS-related issues and providing technical guidance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in CSS, sharing knowledge and insights with the team
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of CSS and its specifications
• Proficiency in working with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less
• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques
• Experience with CSS frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Foundation
• Familiarity with browser compatibility issues and ability to troubleshoot related problems
• Solid understanding of web development principles and processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
• Proven track record of successful project implementation (preferred)
• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery (preferred)
• Portfolio demonstrating previous work and CSS projects (preferred)
